This was a self initiated project to practice Modelling in Maya, I wanted to do a texture study of something I could hold in my hand, this way I was able to observe and recreate its surface qualities first hand.
Modelled in Maya, Texture Painting done in Photoshop with seam painting done in Bodypaint, rendered in Mental Ray
